Gosu Cave is Danyang's best-known cave and one of the classic sights of central Korea. Metal walkways lead through a deep limestone system of stalactites, stalagmites, narrow squeezes, and shadowy chambers.
It is atmospheric rather than wild, with lighting and built paths, but it still feels close and damp underground. Anyone who hates tight spaces should think twice.
