One of the few Buddhist temples in Korea built directly on the sea. The complex extends along rocky cliffs and a narrow beach — shrines, stone statues, and pagodas crammed between the rocks with waves breaking below. Best visited on a weekday; it draws large crowds at weekends and on Buddhist holidays.
Take bus 181 from Haeundae subway station. From the bus stop it's a short walk down to the entrance, where food stalls and souvenir shops line the path.
