Odaesan National Park is Pyeongchang's strongest natural anchor. Its peaks are gentler than Seoraksan's granite drama, but the forests, temple valleys, and walking routes give the county a calmer mountain identity.
Most travelers combine the park with Woljeongsa and the fir-tree forest. If you have more time, longer trails lead toward Birobong and quieter valleys where the park feels less like a stop and more like a proper day in the mountains.
