Eating Out

The harbour is the food destination. Stalls and small restaurants along the seafront sell the day's catch as raw hoe (Korean sashimi), grilled mackerel, spicy fish stews, and jangeo gui (grilled eel) for which the south coast is famous. Prices stay reasonable away from the obvious tourist spots — pick the places where the fishermen themselves are eating.
