A modest archaeological museum at the foot of the hill, near the start of the climb. It holds finds from the monastery complex above: Buddhist sculpture, pottery, surgical instruments and stone medicine bowls from the hospital, and inscribed slabs. The labelling is uneven but the objects speak for themselves, and twenty minutes here gives useful context before tackling the site.
