Fenqihu Old Street is a small mountain market street on the Alishan route, lined with old houses, snack stalls, and shops selling lunch boxes and trail food. It is busiest when visitors break the journey between Chiayi and Alishan.
Come for a short wander and something to eat rather than a major sightseeing stop. The old street pairs well with the nearby trail network around Shizhuo and Fenqihu.
