Trees, a small lake with fountains, free wifi, and a steady stream of joggers and dog-walkers in the cooler hours.
The park is easiest to reach via the Red Line's Central Park MRT, which has its own striking high-tech glass entrance designed by British architect Richard Rogers — itself worth a look on the way through. Pair it with an evening walk to the nearby Liuhe Night Market.
