Beinan Site Park protects part of the prehistoric site uncovered during railway construction near Taitung Station. It is not a dramatic ruin in the stone-wall sense; its value is quieter, tied to burials, settlement traces, and the scale of what was found here.
Visit after the National Museum of Prehistory if you can. The museum gives the context, and the park lets you stand in the landscape where that context came from.
