Liyushan Park rises just above central Taitung, with short trails and lookouts over the city, coast, and surrounding hills. The Longfeng Tower area is one of the easiest places to get a quick view without leaving town.
Come early or late in the day for cooler walking and clearer light. The paths are not long, but the hill can feel steep in hot weather.
