Koh Phayam's pleasures are simple: beaches, snorkelling, and the quiet pace of island life. Ao Yai (Long Beach) on the west side is the main beach, known for spectacular sunsets and a long arc of white sand. Ao Khao Kwai (Buffalo Horn Bay) on the east is calmer and better for swimming in rougher weather. The national park covers the surrounding waters, with coral reefs accessible by longtail boat.
