The Siam Commercial Bank Building is an early 20th-century landmark on the Chao Phraya, designed by Italian architect Annibale Rigotti. Its European-style facade, Art Deco touches and decorated gables make it stand out along the riverfront.
It is easiest to appreciate from the Chao Phraya Express Boat rather than by hunting for the frontage on foot. Look for it as part of a river ride through Chinatown and the old commercial districts.
