Bangkok's temples are the obvious draw, and they deserve every bit of the attention. The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew complex is unmissable, and Wat Pho's reclining Buddha and traditional massage school are right next door. Cross the river by ferry for Wat Arun at sunset. Beyond the temples, you can take a Thai cooking class, explore Chinatown's labyrinthine streets, or simply lose yourself in one of the city's many markets.
