Holy Rosary Church is one of Bangkok's old Catholic landmarks, rooted in the Portuguese community that settled along the river after the founding of the capital. The present cream-coloured church dates from the 1890s and has a tall spire, European-style stained glass, and a long connection with Catholic Vietnamese and Cambodian communities in the city.
It is close enough to Chinatown and the riverfront to combine with a walk through Talat Noi, Yaowarat, or nearby temples.
