Pathumwananurak Park is a small, well-kept patch of greenery wedged among the shopping malls and traffic of the Pratunam and Ratchaprasong area. Created to mark a royal anniversary, it offers shaded paths, a pond, and benches that draw office workers at lunchtime and shoppers in need of a rest.
It will not detain you long, but as a free, leafy pause between the markets of Pratunam and the megamalls of Siam it is a welcome breathing space in one of the densest parts of the city.
