SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World occupies the basement levels of Siam Paragon and is one of the largest aquariums in Southeast Asia, with 30,000 aquatic animals across 400 species. The signature feature is a 270-degree glass tunnel through a tank containing sharks, rays, and large reef fish; visitors can also arrange cage dives and glass-bottom boat rides within the tanks.
The aquarium is well-maintained and extensive. Highlights beyond the shark tunnel include the jellyfish galleries, the Amazon river ecosystem section, and the penguin enclosure. Families with children will find it absorbs a half-day without difficulty. Buying tickets online avoids the queues at the entrance. The cost is higher than comparable attractions in Bangkok but the scale justifies it.
