Wat Chakrawat

Wat Chakrawat is a small but memorable temple on the edge of Bangkok's Chinatown, best known for its quiet grounds and resident crocodiles. The main temple is modest, but a side viharn has unusual black-and-gold decoration on its outer wall.

The temple is an easy stop while walking between Phahurat, Yaowarat Road, and the older shrines of Chinatown. Look for the crocodile pond beside the temple and the preserved original crocodile displayed above it.
