Pattani has no city railway station. The rail stop named Pattani is in Khok Pho district, roughly 30 km away, and Yala station is another common access point. From either, continue by bus, minibus or taxi.
Most air travellers arrive via Hat Yai or Narathiwat and continue overland. Roads in the far south can involve checkpoints, so allow more time than the distance suggests and check current safety advice.
