Chantaburi is about 245 km from Bangkok, roughly a four-hour drive on Route 3 (the eastern coastal highway). Buses run regularly from Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) and take around four hours. There is no direct train service to Chantaburi.
