Ban Tai is one of the longest stretches of beach on Koh Phangan's south coast, extending from near the ferry port at Thong Sala toward Haad Rin. At low tide you can walk the full length of the sand, merging with Ban Kai beach further east. The setting is peaceful — coconut palms, shallow water, and views across the bay — without the intensity of Haad Rin's party scene.
