Boğazköy Museum is small, but it is useful because most of Hattusa's major finds are far away in Ankara or other museums. The displays give you a local frame for the city above town, including objects, copies, and explanations of the Hittite world.
Visit before Hattusa if you like context first, or after the ruins if you want the fragments to connect back to places you have just walked.
