Demre is on the D400 coastal road, about 160 km west of Antalya and 120 km east of Fethiye. Regular dolmuş services run along the coast; Demre is a standard stop. By car from Antalya it takes roughly 2.5 hours. Combine with a boat trip to Kekova from Üçağız (25 km west) for a full day on the Lycian coast.
