Tahtakuşlar Ethnography Gallery is a small, idiosyncratic museum in the village of Tahtakuşlar, west of Güre. Its displays focus on local Turkmen and nomadic culture, with material on shamanic traditions, costume, tools, and village life.
It is quirky rather than grand, but that suits the Edremit district. Pair it with Kaz Dağı or Hasanboğuldu for a day that feels rooted in the mountain villages rather than only the beach resorts.
