The Twin Minaret Madrasa, or Çifte Minareli Medrese, is Erzurum's defining monument. Built around the mid-13th century, it has a monumental stone portal flanked by two tall brick minarets with turquoise tile traces.
The facade is the reason to come: deep carving, geometric borders, and the kind of confident Seljuk stonework that rewards slow looking. Inside, the old theological school now functions as a museum space.
