Kuzalan Nature Park lies in the mountains south of Giresun, where forest streams drop through waterfalls and mineral-rich pools. The best-known stop is Mavi Göl, a small blue lake whose colour comes from the water's chemistry rather than from any resort trick.
The park is not in town, so it works best with a car and a slow day. Pair the falls, Mavi Göl, and nearby travertine pools for a strong contrast with the damp, urban Black Sea coast.
