Kırklareli Museum is a useful first stop because it puts the city in its Thracian setting. The collections cover archaeology from the region, local ethnography, and natural history rather than trying to be a grand national museum.
It is housed in a restored public building near the centre. Give it under an hour, then use it as context for Aşağı Pınar and the old houses around Yayla.
