Late April through June is the easiest visit — warm enough to swim, the wildflowers along the Lycian Way at their peak, and the treehouse camps not yet at full summer capacity. Sea turtles begin nesting in May.
July and August are hot (35°C and humid) and the camps are at their loudest; the sea is at its warmest then but the canyon traps heat. September and October bring cooler nights, warm sea, ripe pomegranates in the village gardens, and turtle hatchlings on the beach. Winter is quiet, cool, and rainy; most treehouse camps close from November to March, though a couple of year-round pensions in Çıralı stay open.
