Anadolu Kavağı is a Bosphorus village near the Black Sea end of the strait, best reached by ferry rather than by the winding road through the forest. The village itself is small and busy on summer weekends, but the climb above it to Yoros Castle gives wide views over the Bosphorus mouth and the wooded northern shore.
It makes a satisfying final stop on a Bosphorus day, especially if you arrive by boat and walk up before returning to the pier for fish, tea, or the ferry back south.
