Tokat's clock tower stands on Behzat Boulevard, one of the Ottoman clock towers raised around the empire to mark Sultan Abdul Hamid II's reign. It is a small landmark, but a useful one: the nearby Behzat Mosque, old houses, and Mevlevi lodge make this a good southern point for an old-city walk.
