Doc Let Beach is the usual escape valve when central Nha Trang feels too busy. North of the city near Ninh Hoa, it has a long run of pale sand, calmer water, and a more spread-out feel than the main beachfront.
It is still developed in places, so do not arrive expecting untouched wilderness. The reason to go is the easier swimming, the softer beach day, and the chance to combine the coast with salt fields or fishing villages on the way.
