Linh Sơn Pagoda

Linh Sơn is a small but unusually old pagoda on the eastern side of central Vung Tau, originally founded in the early 19th century. The main building is plainer than the giant monasteries that came later; the draw is a stone Buddha statue, carved in the 7th century in the Champa style and excavated from the slopes of Big Mountain in 1911.

A quick ten-minute visit. Useful as a stop on the way between the centre and Back Beach.
