Seven Mile Beach National Park protects the long strip of coast east of Berry, from Gerroa toward Shoalhaven Heads. It is an easy add-on to a Berry day: sand, surf, picnic spots, and flat walking instead of the steep climb to Drawing Room Rocks.
The beach is exposed, so swim only where conditions are safe and patrolled. For many visitors the best plan is simple: bring lunch from Berry, walk a quiet stretch of sand, and watch the escarpment from sea level.
