Cooranbong is about 100km north of Sydney and 30km south of Newcastle, making it straightforward to reach by road or rail.

By car: Take the M1 Pacific Motorway north from Sydney and exit at Dora Creek or Morisset. The drive from Sydney takes about an hour in clear traffic.
