Abrahams Bosom Reserve

Coastal reserve with sheltered coves, rock pools, picnic areas, and walking tracks from Currarong.

Abrahams Bosom Reserve is the main reason Currarong deserves more than a lunch stop. It starts almost at the edge of the village and quickly becomes a web of coastal tracks, sheltered swimming coves, rock platforms, and low heath with big views over the Pacific.

The Coomies Walk loop is the best sampler if you have a few hours. It links beaches, lookouts, and the old Merimbula shipwreck site, with plenty of places to slow down for a swim or a picnic. Bring water and decent shoes; the paths are short by bushwalking standards but exposed in summer.
