Werri Beach is Gerringong's main beach, a long curve of sand between two headlands. The surf draws board riders, while the northern lagoon and southern rockier end give the beach more variety than a straight ocean frontage.
It is a good place to linger rather than tick off. Watch conditions carefully, swim between flags when patrols are operating, and use it as the soft finish after walking down from Kiama.
