Blue Lake is a glacial lake in the alpine country of Kosciuszko National Park. The walk in passes snow gum woodland, heath, and open alpine scenery, with the lake sitting below rocky slopes that feel very different from the coast and inland plains most visitors know in New South Wales.
Weather changes quickly in this part of the park. Carry warm layers, water, and sun protection even on clear days.
