Bournda National Park starts just south of Tathra around Kianinny Bay and stretches toward Tura Beach. It is a quieter counterpoint to the town beach: bush tracks, lagoon edges, ocean beaches, and plenty of birdlife.
For a short visit, choose a coastal track or picnic stop rather than treating it as a drive-through. The park rewards slow walking.
