Bluff Rock Viewpoint

Bluff Rock Viewpoint is a roadside lookout south of Tenterfield with views toward the granite outcrop of Bluff Rock. A memorial here marks the Aboriginal people killed in an 1844 massacre by European settlers, giving the stop historical weight as well as scenery.

It works best as a short stop when driving the New England Highway. A closer view of Bluff Rock is available from the turn-off to Bluff Creek Road.
