Museum of the Riverina

Local history museum interpreting Wagga, the Murrumbidgee, and the wider Riverina.

The Museum of the Riverina tells the local story: Wiradjuri country, the Murrumbidgee River, farming, civic life, sport, defence, and the people who shaped the city.

Its Historic Council Chambers site occupies an 1881 building in the city centre and hosts changing exhibitions. A second Botanic Gardens site holds more of the collection and digs into the wider Riverina.
