Horseshoe Bay is Bowen's prettiest beach, a compact curve of sand tucked between granite outcrops at Cape Edgecumbe. The bay is sheltered, photogenic, and easy to enjoy without committing to a boat tour.
Bring reef shoes or snorkelling gear if conditions are calm, and use the short lookout tracks around the headland for views over the neighbouring bays. In stinger season, follow local swimming advice carefully.
