Macintyre River Walk

The Macintyre River Walk follows the water that marks the Queensland-New South Wales border. The official town map describes a roughly 4 km walk beside the river, linking the border story, birdlife, and open country feel that make Goondiwindi more than a road junction.

Use it as the spine of a visit: Customs House Museum, the bird sculptures, the old Border Bridge area, and the Gunsynd Statue all sit naturally around the same river edge.
