Sunshine Coast Airport (SCA) at Marcoola is the regional airport, with direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, and other Australian capitals. It's about 30 minutes' drive from Noosa and 20 minutes from Mooloolaba.
From Brisbane, the drive up the Bruce Highway and Sunshine Motorway takes about 90 minutes to Mooloolaba or two hours to Noosa — longer in holiday season traffic. The Sunshine Coast line runs train services from Brisbane to Nambour and Landsborough, with connecting Translink buses to the coast towns. The train journey to Nambour takes about 1.5 hours from Brisbane Central.
