Cobb+Co Museum is Toowoomba's best indoor sight, built around Queensland Museum's National Carriage Collection. The displays cover horse-drawn transport, trades, tools, and the practical history of inland Queensland before cars and sealed roads made distance easier.
It is a good rainy-day stop, but it also gives useful context before driving west across the Darling Downs. Allow an hour or two.
