Laurel Bank Park

Laurel Bank Park is smaller than Queens Park but often more intimate, with formal beds, mature trees, a scented garden, and lawns close to the city centre. It began as a private garden before being gifted to Toowoomba in the 1930s.

During Carnival of Flowers it becomes one of the city's busiest garden sites. Outside festival time, it is still a pleasant, low-key stop that reinforces Toowoomba's unusual garden-city identity.
