Queens Park and Botanic Gardens

Queens Park and the adjacent Botanic Gardens form Toowoomba's classic garden stop. The reserve dates from the 19th century and still has formal beds, mature trees, broad lawns, and the kind of civic planting that suits the city's cooler climate.

It is especially good during the Carnival of Flowers, but it is useful year-round as a green walk close to the centre. Pair it with nearby Cobb+Co Museum.
