The Edithburgh Tidal Pool is a simple seawater pool set into the shore on O'Halloran Parade. It is filled and refreshed by the tide, which gives it the feel of swimming in the gulf without quite being exposed to the open water.
It is best treated as a fair-weather stop rather than a guaranteed attraction. Tide, algae, storms, and council maintenance can all affect conditions, but on a clear warm day it is a lovely low-key place to swim, sit on the rocks, and watch the light change across Gulf St Vincent.
