Wattle Point Wind Farm

Wattle Point Wind Farm spreads across the open country south-west of Edithburgh, where the lower Yorke Peninsula catches steady wind off Investigator Strait and Gulf St Vincent. The turbines are visible from around town, so they have become part of the local skyline rather than a separate attraction.

It is worth a short look if you are driving the coast toward Sultana Point or Wattle Point. The scale is the point: 55 turbines standing in farmland, turning above saltbush, wheat country, and low coastal scrub.
