The Pichi Richi Railway is Quorn's headline attraction, running heritage steam and diesel trains through the pass toward Port Augusta. The route follows part of the old narrow-gauge line that once fed the inland railway system, and the scenery is classic southern Flinders: dry creek beds, red rock, and low ranges.
