Wild Cafe and Larder

A small, busy cafe on the main street near the Big Penguin, serving the standard Tasmanian morning lineup — eggs done several ways, sourdough toast, single-origin coffee from local roasters — alongside a cabinet of pies and slices. The "larder" half is a small produce shop with northwest-coast cheeses, preserves, and smoked fish to take away.

Open most days for breakfast and lunch; closed earlier in winter. Good for a 20-minute stop while driving the coast.
