Hiscutt Park

A small, immaculately maintained park behind the main street, planted with European trees and built around a half-scale Dutch windmill — the town's tribute to its sister-city ties with the Netherlands. Tulips bloom in September and October; the park hosts a brief tulip festival each spring with stalls, music, and a small parade.

Good for a picnic, a half-hour wander, or sheltering from the Bass Strait wind. Free, always open. The windmill itself is decorative — non-functional — but the gardens around it are genuinely well tended.
