Lake Daylesford is the town's simplest pleasure: a low-key lake with walking paths, picnic spots, and views back toward the hills. It is close enough to the centre to fit into almost any visit.
The lake is not wild country, and it does not need to be. It gives Daylesford a relaxed outdoor centre and a good place to reset between galleries, meals, and spa stops.
